About Our Dental Plans
At Farnham Road Dental Practice we are happy to provide two levels of payment plans so you can choose the level of cover you require
Total Care Plan
- Our Total Care Plan is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental care
- After an initial assessment by the dentist (for which you will be charged) you will be placed into one of five fee categories
- The fee category and the amount you pay your dentist is decided by them and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you have had which will give an idea of how much treatment you are likely to require in the future.
- You must ensure that you also attend your dentist for regular examinations, receive treatment your dentist advises and you must promptly inform your dentist of any injury, problem or other material matter affecting your oral health.
- Total Care also includes Supplementary Insurance which provides you with worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover and access to
Routine and restorative dental care includes:
- Check-ups
- Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing)
- Dental x-rays
- Necessary fillings
- Preventative dental advice and therapy
- Any necessary extractions
- Periodontal (gum) treatment
- Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
- Root canal treatment
Total Care Plan does not cover:
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
- Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist, except when you need temporary emergency dental treatment
- Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees.
Please remember – your routine dental treatment is at the discretion of your dentist
Routine Care Plan
- Our Routine Care Plan is a dental plan which helps you budget for your routine dental care.
- Seeing your dentist regularly is important as it can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments.
- You must ensure that you also attend your dentist for regular examinations, receive treatment your dentist advises and you must promptly inform your dentist of any injury, problem or other material matter affecting your oral health.
- The dental plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is necessary.
- Your dentist will decide how often he wants to see you and how much he will charge you.
- You will have to pay for any restorative (ie. crowns, bridges or fillings) dental treatment necessary.
- The Routine Care Plan also includes Supplementary Insurance which provides you with worldwide dental injury and dental emergency
Routine dental care includes:
- Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
- Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your Contract)
- Dental x-rays
- Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your contract
- Preventative dental advice
Routine Care Plan does not cover:
- Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
- Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees

| BAND A | £15.74 per month (includes 2x check ups per year and cleaning with the dentist) |
| BAND B | £23.35 per month (Includes 2x check ups per year and 2x hygienist visits per year) |
| BAND C | £36.28 per month (Includes 2x check ups per year and 4x hygienist visits per year) |
